This live activity, "Safe and Effective Use of Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers," with a start date of March 6, 2021, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 8.5 Prescribed Credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This course has also been reviewed and approved by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing for advanced practice providers.

  • American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • AAFP Prescribed Credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed Credit earned must be reported as Prescribed Credit, not as Category 1.
  • The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accepts AAFP Prescribed and Elective credit as AOA Category 2 credit:
  • CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.

For Dentists:

This course has been reviewed and approved for up to eight hours of Continuing Dental Education Credit by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry, the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners and the West Virginia Board of Dentistry.

This course also meets the criteria for credit approval as described in the Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Florida Dental Practice Acts. These Boards do not approve individual courses for credit.
